Rag Star Pattern
Share
Hello!
Here is a very simple pattern to knit a star in 2 rows. In this image I have knitted it with rag yarn and the result is a star approximately a hand's width. It is a very pretty shape that can be added to many types of work to decorate.
The graphic pattern would be like this:
Explanation of the pattern for knitting a star:
We start the work with a chain or magic ring, which will be the center.
Round 1: Crochet 3 chain stitches, then crochet 14 double crochet stitches over the central chain stitch. Join with a slip stitch to the third chain stitch that we crocheted at the beginning of the round, closing a circle.
Round 2: Crochet 6 chains. On the third chain from the needle (skip 2) crochet a single crochet. In the next chain, crochet a half crochet. In the next chain, crochet a double crochet. In the next and last chain, crochet a double crochet. Join with a slip stitch to the third double crochet from round 1.
We repeat the instructions until we complete the 5 tips.
