POINTS USED
Stockinette stitch: knit all stitches on the right side rows of the work and purl all stitches on the wrong side rows of the work.
Garter stitch: knit all stitches on all rows.
PATTERN
BOTTOM EDGE
Cast on 210 sts with white yarn.
Knit 2 rows in garter stitch.
Knit 8 rows in stocking stitch.
SECTION 1
On the next right row of the work, without cutting the white wool strand, we take the green color.
Row 1 (RS) green: *k5sts, slip into next st 2 rows down, pull up st by picking up yarn from ball, join to next st on corresponding row and kn2tog*. Repeat from * to * across row.
Row 2 (WS) green: purl entire row.
Rows 3 to 6 in white: knit all 4 rows in stocking stitch.
Row 7 (RS) green: K2st, sl st in next st from previous green row, pick up st by pulling yarn over, join to next st on corresponding row and K2tog, *K5st, sl st in next st from previous green row, pick up st by pulling yarn over, join to next st on corresponding row and K2tog*. Repeat from *-* across row until 3st remain and K3st.
Row 8 (WS) green: purl entire row.
