Practice knitting a square starting with 10 chains, then make 1 chain in height and 10 single crochet stitches.
Turn the fabric, chain 1 in height, and crochet another 10 single crochet stitches.
Repeat this until you reach 10 laps.

Practice knitting a square starting with 10 chains, then make 2 chains in height and 10 half stitches.
Turn the fabric, chain 2 stitches high, and crochet another 10 half stitches.
Repeat this until you reach 10 laps.

Practice knitting a square starting with 10 chains.
Then make 3 chains in height, these 3 chains replace the first stitch, so we already have 1 double crochet.
Crochet another 9 double crochet stitches (since the first 3 chains are the first stitch, to crochet the second stitch you will have to insert the needle into the 5th loop from the needle).
Turn the fabric, chain 3 stitches high, and crochet another 9 double crochet stitches.
Repeat this until you reach 10 laps.

Practice crocheting 10 chains, 1 round in single crochet (remember to start with 1 chain in height) and 1 round in slip stitch.
Practice crocheting 10 chains, 1 round in double crochet (remember to start with 3 chains in height) and 1 round in slip stitch.
Practice crocheting 10 chains, 1 round in half stitch (remember to start with 2 chains in height) and 1 round in slip stitch.

Practice knitting a square starting with 10 chains.
Then make 4 chains in height, these 4 chains replace the first stitch, so we already have 1 double crochet.
Crochet another 9 double crochets (since the first 4 chains are the first stitch, to crochet the second stitch you will have to insert the needle into the 6th loop from the needle).
Turn the fabric, chain 4 stitches high, and crochet another 9 double crochet stitches.
Repeat this until you reach 10 laps.

Practice knitting a square starting with 10 chains.
Then make 5 chains in height, these 5 chains replace the first stitch, so we already have 1 triple crochet.
Crochet another 9 triple crochet stitches (since the first 5 chains are the first stitch, to crochet the second stitch you will have to insert the needle into the 7th loop from the needle).
Turn the fabric, chain 5 stitches high, and crochet another 9 triple crochet stitches.
Repeat this until you reach 10 laps.
